Greyhounds as Pets South Australia is operated by Greyhound Racing SA Limited (GRSA).

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. We collect personal information only where it is needed to manage our adoption, foster, volunteer and community programs.

We may collect personal information when you apply to adopt or foster a greyhound, register as a volunteer, contact us, attend an event, make a donation or use this website. This may include your contact details and information about your household, property, other animals and living arrangements. We may also collect information from referees you nominate and through home assessments where these form part of an application.

We use this information to assess applications, match greyhounds with suitable homes, manage placements and volunteer activities, provide post-adoption or foster support, respond to enquiries and improve GAP SA programs and services.

We may share personal information with veterinarians, nominated referees, animal welfare partners, service providers and Regulatory Bodies where required or authorised.

You may ask to access or correct your personal information, update your communication preferences or make a privacy complaint.
